“Oneness Amidst the Chaos”

The idea that anyone can be against us is nothing more than a fear-based illusion of separation to be dispelled. We are all related under one Creator. "Behold your son . . . Behold your mother." - Jn 19:26-27

March 2021

Greetings Beloveds,

In the midst of this beautiful Lenten Season, we are encouraged to take time apart from the ‘regular programing’ of our lives to reflect on what it is we are habitually thinking/believing/doing that is no longer in service to our greater good and. Yet, at the heart of the matter, only you and your Creator know the way to your authentic Be-ingness – the Love that you are.

St. Athanasius said, “The Son of God became man so that we might become God.”

Now that’s a bold way of stating Unity’s second Principle: Human beings have a spark of divinity within and are therefore inherently Good. We already are the very image of God the Good, Omnipotent. Jesus, by allowing for his own sacrifice on the cross, ripped the veil between humans and Divine Understanding so that the path back to Source would be made clear.

This sacred time leading up to Easter Sunday on April 4th is a time of rest and respite, a time of letting go of what is weighing us down and keeping us tied to error thinking, and a time for preparing a space in our hearts for the dawn of Understanding. Let us slow down, pause, and listen to the still small voice that whispers, “the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

Can you hear it? What is the desire God has placed in your heart? It calls to you to follow your dream, to step into a more authentic you. It is only through the enactment of our divine ideas that we become a Presence for the world. This is what awaits us on the other side of crucifixion, a call to resurrect our Authentic Selves.

My hope is that you will allow Unity’s message of the teachings of the Christ to support you on your healing journey toward Wholeness. In all things and in all ways this Lenten Season, let go and let God, and be renewed in Spirit. And know,

You Are Loved!

Unity is a positive, practical, progressive approach to Christianity based on the teachings of Jesus and the power of prayer. Unity honors the universal truths in all religions and respects each individual's right to choose a spiritual path. Unity teachings are based on universal spiritual principles that run like a thread through the world’s religions. These are laws that seem to govern humankind no matter where we live, how we view the Divine, or even whether we are aware these principles exist. Please join us on Sunday mornings at 10:30 am.
